How we can help

Family Support Groups
The groups have varied and fun-filled programmes. Our sessions include a wide range of activities including Bookbug sessions, messy play and adventures outside! The Groups have a very supportive atmosphere which welcomes a diverse group of families from across Clackmannanshire. All group sessions, as well as family trips.

Weekly Family Support Groups currently take place on Tuesdays at Hawkhill Community Centre (9.30am-11am) and after the summer holidays at The Blue House in Tullibody and the Ben Cleuch Centre in Tillicoultry.

In addition, after the summer holidays, we will also be offering Cooking Sessions, a Parent Only Group, and an Art project with the support of Reachout with Arts in Mind. During school holidays we offer a range of outings and activities, including Play in the Park, making best use of the many wonderful Parks Clackmannanshire has.

Family Support Service

Through a team of home-visiting Family Support Volunteers we provide one-to-one support for parents/carers with one or more children under twelve years old. Family Support Volunteers commit to visit their Home-Start family in their own home for 2-3 hours every week and the type of support the Volunteer gives depends very much on the needs of the family.
