4Children is a national children & families charity. 

We are carrying out an Inquiry, Britain’s families: thriving or surviving?, to find out about the big issues facing families today. Polling we carried out at the start of the Inquiry found that:

•         A third of families are only just surviving or struggling to cope

•         Almost half of families are facing financial struggles

•         A quarter of parents think their children’s standard of living will be worse than their own

As part of the Inquiry we are arranging focus groups with children, young people, parents and carers around England, Wales and Scotland to hear about their experiences and suggestions for how life might be improved for them and their family.
