Dads Support Groups are an opportunity for dads who have children under the age of 3 years to spend quality time with their children, to play and experience fun, new activities in friendly, child centred environments. The dads can socialise with other fathers in their community who also have child care responsibilities. The dads can ask advice on all child care related topics to the two members of qualified staff facilitating the session. These groups allow the dads the chance to play with their children in a friendly environment full of play activities and experiences. The groups also allow the children to mix with others their own age aiding their social and emotional development and preparing older ones for nursery.
